Cleaning Assistant provides part-time, ad-hoc and deep home cleaning across Singapore, from coastal homes in the East to new towns in the North-East and West and mature estates in the city centre. Wherever you live, the rates, scope and booking process are the same. What changes from one estate to the next is what your home actually needs. A 1970s flat in Marine Parade, a brand-new BTO in Tengah and a shophouse in Joo Chiat collect dirt in very different ways.
This guide lists every area we've written a local guide for, grouped by region, with a one-line note on what makes each one different. Pick your neighbourhood for tips specific to the homes there.
How cleaning needs change across Singapore
Before the area list, here's the big picture. Singapore is small, but where you live shapes the cleaning your home needs.
| Region | Typical homes | Main cleaning challenges |
|---|---|---|
| East | Mature HDB, large 1980s flats, shophouses, landed estates, seafront condos | Salt air on grilles and glass, sand from the beach, older grout and fittings |
| North-East | Newer BTOs and 2000s flats, ECs, some mature estates | Construction dust, new-flat residue, family wear and tear |
| North | Mix of mature and new HDB, some colonial-era houses | Construction dust in growing areas, humidity near greenery and reservoirs |
| West | Large HDB towns, the newest BTO town, ridge-side condos | Fresh construction dust, big family flats, forest-edge humidity |
| Central | The oldest HDB estates, pre-war flats, landed homes, expat condos | Ageing tiles and terrazzo, multi-storey landed homes, balconies and glass |
Some needs apply everywhere. Singapore's year-round humidity encourages mould in bathrooms, wardrobes and closed rooms. Wok cooking leaves grease on kitchen surfaces. During the monsoon seasons, damp corners and window tracks need more attention. Our guide to home cleaning services in Singapore covers these basics.
East
The East is defined by the sea. Homes near East Coast Park and Pasir Ris Park deal with salty air and tracked-in sand. The mature estates here are some of Singapore's oldest, and there's a rich mix of shophouses and landed homes.
- Tampines home cleaning: the East's regional centre, where 1980s family flats sit beside new Tampines North BTOs and condos near the malls.
- Part-time cleaner in Bedok: one of the largest and oldest HDB towns, where kitchen grease, tired grout and sea-breeze grilles are the priorities.
- Pasir Ris home cleaning guide: big executive flats and maisonettes beside the coast, with salt on grilles and sand from the park.
- Cleaning in Marine Parade: 1970s flats on reclaimed land plus East Coast condos, needing gentle care for ageing fittings.
- Home cleaning in Katong and Joo Chiat: Peranakan shophouses and terraces with heritage tiles, timber floors and airwells.
- Siglap and East Coast home cleaning: landed estates and seafront condos where sand, sea air and outdoor spaces drive the routine.
North-East
The North-East is home to some of Singapore's youngest towns, with plenty of new flats and young families. Older estates like Ang Mo Kio and Hougang balance it out.
- Part-time cleaner in Punggol: a waterfront BTO town where first-year residue and construction dust are the main jobs.
- Sengkang family home cleaning: 2000s HDB flats and ECs full of busy households with children.
- Cleaning multi-generational homes in Hougang: a mature town of roomy 1980s flats, often shared by three generations.
- Home cleaning in Serangoon: HDB flats near the town centre and the landed homes of Serangoon Gardens.
- Part-time cleaner in Ang Mo Kio: one of the earliest new towns, with many long-time residents and older flats.
North
The North combines established towns with fast-growing neighbourhoods and plenty of green space, which brings both construction dust and humidity.
- Woodlands home cleaning: a large northern town near the Causeway, with a broad mix of older and newer flats.
- Part-time cleaner in Yishun: family flats of every age, with newer neighbourhoods still growing.
- Home cleaning in Sembawang: newer HDB estates alongside a heritage of colonial-era homes near the old naval base.
West
The West has some of Singapore's biggest HDB towns and its newest one. Cleaning needs range from fresh construction dust to the build-up in mature family flats.
- Part-time cleaner in Jurong West: a large town of family flats from several decades.
- Home cleaning in Jurong East: a regional hub where mature flats sit close to big malls and new developments.
- Bukit Batok cleaning guide: an established town with greenery nearby and a mix of older and newer blocks.
- Part-time cleaner in Bukit Panjang: a hilly town near nature reserves, where humidity and dust both play a part.
- Home cleaning in Choa Chu Kang: a family-heavy town of mostly 1990s flats.
- Clementi home cleaning: a mature estate popular with families and students, with plenty of older flats.
- Cleaning a new flat in Tengah: Singapore's newest HDB town, where move-in cleaning and ongoing construction dust come first.
- West Coast and Pasir Panjang home cleaning: HDB estates and ridge-side condos close to the sea and the southern parks.
Central
The Central region has the widest range of homes: Singapore's earliest public housing, pre-war flats, prime landed estates, new BTO districts and expat condos.
- Part-time cleaner in Bishan: a popular mature estate where well-kept family flats sit next to a large park.
- Toa Payoh home cleaning: one of Singapore's first HDB new towns, with terrazzo floors and older fittings.
- Home cleaning in Bidadari: a new estate of recent BTOs built around a park, with first-year cleaning needs.
- Upper Thomson home cleaning: landed homes and condos near the nature reserves, where humidity is a constant.
- Part-time cleaner in Novena: condos and landed homes in a central, well-connected district.
- Bukit Timah home cleaning: large landed homes and spacious condos, often with several storeys.
- Cleaning homes in Holland Village: condos and landed homes popular with expat families.
- Part-time cleaner in Queenstown: Singapore's first satellite town, where heritage blocks stand beside new high-rises.
- Home cleaning in Bukit Merah: a large mature estate close to the city, with many older flats.
- Tiong Bahru home cleaning: pre-war walk-up flats with original features that need careful handling.
- River Valley home cleaning: expat condos with balconies and large glass areas near the river.
- Part-time cleaner in Tanjong Pagar: city-fringe flats, condos and shophouse homes near the CBD.
- Kallang and Whampoa home cleaning: older riverside estates with a growing number of newer blocks.
- Geylang and Paya Lebar home cleaning: shophouses, walk-up apartments and newer condos around a changing commercial hub.
Choosing the right kind of clean for your home
Your area guide gives local detail, but the type of clean you book matters just as much.
- Regular part-time cleaning. Weekly or fortnightly visits for ongoing upkeep, and the most popular option for working families. See our part-time cleaning service.
- Deep cleaning. A thorough reset for grease, mould and build-up that regular cleaning can't reach. Our deep cleaning guide explains what's involved.
- Move-in and move-out cleaning. For empty homes before keys are handed over or furniture arrives. See the move-out cleaning guide.
- Post-renovation cleaning. For the fine dust renovation leaves behind. Our post-renovation cleaning guide covers this.
- Window and floor cleaning. Interior and safely reachable exterior windows, and tile, vinyl, marble and timber floors. See window cleaning and floor cleaning.

What stays the same wherever you live
However different the homes, a few things don't change from one postcode to the next.
- One set of rates. $20/hr for your first ad-hoc trial, $23/hr for weekly or fortnightly recurring plans and $26/hr for on-demand ad-hoc cleans, with same-day service available. There are no agency fees, levy, contracts or hidden charges, and no surcharge for your area.
- You provide the supplies. Customers supply the cleaning products and equipment. You pay no mark-up and stay in control of what's used around children, elderly family members and pets. Our list of supplies to prepare helps you get set up.
- Vetted cleaners. Our cleaners are trained, background-checked and insured, and the business is NEA-approved and fully insured.
- Consistency. On recurring plans we do our best to send the same cleaner each visit.
- A clear scope. Living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen are covered as standard. Ironing, balcony, door and gate cleaning, decluttering and furniture exteriors are available as extras. We don't do internal aircon servicing, pest control or high-rise exterior windows that can't be reached safely.
Frequently asked questions
Do you charge more for some areas of Singapore?
No. Our hourly rates are the same across Singapore, whether you live in Pasir Ris, Tengah or Tanjong Pagar. The total depends only on how many hours you book.
My neighbourhood isn't listed. Can you still clean my home?
Yes. These guides cover the areas we're asked about most, but we serve homes across Singapore. Book online or send us a WhatsApp with your address and flat type.
Do you have a local team in my estate?
We don't run local branches. We serve homes all over Singapore from one booking system, and match you with a trained cleaner for your chosen time. On recurring plans we do our best to keep the same cleaner.
How do I know how many hours to book for my flat?
As a rough guide, a regularly cleaned 4-room HDB flat takes about 3 to 4 hours and a 5-room flat about 4 to 5 hours. Each area guide gives estimates for the homes typical in that estate.
Wherever you live in Singapore, a cleaner home is a few taps away. Choose a time on our booking page or WhatsApp +65 8166 0891 with your area and home type, and we'll take it from there.
